Exchange Flags is a true Liverpool landmark in the heart of the city. It serves both the business and leisure communities having both office space and restaurants and bars within the buildings in the Flags
The commercial office space in Exchange Buildings is spread across Horton House and Walker House and has been almost fully refurbished over a period of time. APCO were required in to do a Category B fit-out spread across these two large office buildings.
The main part of the project involved installing all containment, basket trays and electrical track busbar systems to feed floor boxes. However, we were also required to switch the existing lighting system so that it accommodated both Horton House and Walker House by installing sub-metered boards for segregation.
The Exchange Buildings are listed buildings and so work had to be completed under certain restrictions and to a very high standard.
